I am a 15-year veteran of the security services. I specialize in Housing / Apartment complex security. This will include Subsidized / Section 8 housing facilities. I have worked in patrol services, night clubs, bowling alleys and retail night drop escort services. I was an FTO (Field Training Officer) / EMT-I in Riverside, California from 1980-1991 when I transferred to Joplin, Missouri and worked as a Security Officer/EMT in the industrial niche of the security service from 1991-1995. This was the last time I had worked as a security officer. I recently retired from the trucking industry after driving for 16 years. I accumulated at total of 1.73 million safe driving miles throughout my driving career with Prime Inc., Springfield, Mo. I am currently wanting to return to the security services here in the Springfield, Missouri area.
The member has completed The Security Officer Network's Security Management I and II courses. These courses communicated the basics of private security management including staff and client relations, site security best practices, incident response and measurement of performance.
To earn this endorsement this member completed a series of verified training courses from The Security Officer Network. These courses share a common theme of basic private security industry knowledge, professional development and implementing the mindset of security professionalism.
The member completed the tactical communications programs from The Security Officer Network; the skill set of defusing potential security incidents before they progress beyond the stage of verbal resolution. These programs focused on the art of tactical communication: removing personal emotion, understanding the motivation of the counterparty and skillful, subtitle situation management.
